With over 30 years of experience teaching music, I enjoy sharing my love of it with others. As a professional classroom teacher and private lesson instructor, I work with students from the early years through the secondary level. I enjoy teaching various instruments, including piano, accordion, woodwinds, and brass. I presently work in the York Catholic District School Board.

Music makes you smarter and has the ability to bring people together. Learning music at an early age can help develop logical spatial recognition as well as a child's focus. My own children enjoy being part of a musical family where we play drums, sing, or play the piano.

Music performance can help people with their confidence and presentation skills. In the past, I have performed on cruise ships (Celebrity Cruise Lines, Holland America), conducted vocal groups, and performed at weddings or events. Students are welcome to perform at an end-of-season recital.

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Music, a Bachelor Degree in Education, and a Performance Diploma in Piano from the Western Conservatory of Music.
